My alarm plays a short version of my song

When your Smart Wake alarm plays a short version of the song you chose is because the Spotify–Alarmify connection broke and the back up alarm stepped in.

Instead of a generic ringtone (that would be annoying), we save a short version of your chosen song when you pick it in the Sound Explorer, and we use it as the backup sound.

When you're in offline mode, the alarm also plays the short version, since the connection is not active while offline.

⚠️ Note: Multiple Alarms mode only plays short versions by design (it isn’t connected to Spotify overnight). This article is not about that, it's only about Smart Wake alarms.
